KINYON FAMILY

We figured most people just want to know what the kids have been up to. In the event anyone is interested in our jobs and personal lives as adults, here's a 2023 update...
ERIC:
Work: Celebrated his 18th year at Fidelity Investments and is now leading the team in the Bellevue office.
Hobbies: Got a few rounds of golf in, some hours wakesurfing behind our boat and skiing in the winter.
Highlight: Traveling abroad for the first time in 5 years and watching our kids explore soccer, skiing, swimming and more.
Lowlight: Traffic in Seattle is back and makes for a tough commute sometimes.
LARA:
Work: Celebrated 5 years at Rover and helped launch a private label dog walking gear line to sell directly to pet parents online and to retailers through wholesale. She was promoted to lead merchandising and product development.
Hobbies: Dance at Seattle Dance Fitness! Certified as a WERQ dance fitness instructor in March and dances every Monday night.
Highlight: International travel was definitely the high and lots of water sports in the summer.
Lowlight: Recovering from a leg injury, combined with some intese work stress, left me feeling pretty depleted in the first half of the year.
TRAVEL:
Between the two of us we traveled to: Hawaii, Mexico, San Diego, Disneyland, Las Vegas, Diamond Lake, Priest Lake, Lake Cavanaugh, Paris, Greece, Miami/Key West/Bahamas and many trips to Bainbridge Island to visit friends and Suncadia to enjoy all 4 seasons at our cabin.
FAMILY:
An au pair from Panama named Paula joined our family in the spring and we've been learning about her culture. We are grateful for her help with the kids and Eric and I are getting an early education in having a 27-year-old! She's very creative - she paints, knits, makes her own hot sauce and is finalizing her degree in architecture.
WHISKEY:
Whiskey turned 11 in November and we started calling him 'old man.' He still acts like a puppy when he's not sleeping.
